PLANETSHAKERS - NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE [2011] + LETRAS

A espera foi grande mas aqui está o Novo Álbum, em Estúdio,  do Planetshakers.

O CD não é o melhor deles até a data, também não o considero o pior, como comentei em outros posts, você tem que analisar o Planetshakers isoladamente, sem tentar compara-los com Hillsong United, Desperation Band e etc...eles fazem um som mais Punk/Pop/Rock e com letras bem simples, se tentar comparar vai acabar se frustrando e perdendo a chance de conhecer um som bem maneiro.

Por ser um álbum em estúdio, esperava que eles viessem com algumas novidades, mas não arriscaram nada, o som e letras são o que já conhecemos no decorrer dos anos, apenas alguns elementos eletrônicos foram adicionados.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Vamos a uma breve analise:

Percebe-se que o Joth Hunt monopolizou o álbum, solando 09 músicas, nos anteriores sempre havia o rodizio de vozes, não é algo tão ruim, mas senti a falta de mais músicas com o Henry Seeley, ele canta apenas uma Hosanna, que por sinal ficou muito simples e aquém do que estamos acostumados a esperar do Henry. As vozes Femininas ficaram apenas com a Sam Evans que sola Três: Running To You, Favoured (aconselho a passar direto) e Song Of Victory, que até que ficou com uma boa pegada, bem Punk/Pop e até pegajosa.

Realmente o que salva o Planetshakers são as canções de celebração, e esse projeto até que tem umas boas: Nothing Is Impossible (que apareceu pela 1ª vez no album Acústico deles em 2008 e depois no Deeper 2009 com uma roupagem mais caracteristica do Planetshakers) essa versão não mudou tanto continuou boa, mas não vi o Israel Houghton fazer muita coisa além de ouOu's que não curto muito. As outras Power, Bring It On, Give It Up já são marcas registradas do Planet. 

Os destaques do album pra mim ficaram com  Sound Of Praise e Come To Jesus, me arrisco dizer que podem ser até umas das melhores deles. You Are God e No One Like You, não são ruins, mas a letra é simples demais, chega ser até clichê (algo repetitivo demais e sem criatividade) o album termina com We Cry Out, um clamor pelas nações.

Como disse, não achei o album ruim, mas se ainda não conhece o PlanetShakers aconselho começar por outros como: One, All For Love, e Savior Of The World, vai gostar mais.

Aproveitando a ocasição recomendo o CD [EP] solo do Henry Seeley - Find A Way, lançado tambem esse ano, que você baixa AQUI. Pessoalmente, no geral, achei melhor que esse.
