LETRAS: AUDREY ASSAD - THE HOUSE YOU'RE BUILDING

A cada mês o Blog vem dobrando seu número de acessos, isso é maravilhoso, mas uma coisa que comecei a perceber é que as postagens mais antigas tem recebido acessos ínfimos, o que é uma pena, pois grandes CD's e artistas vão ficando pelo caminho. As pessoas que estão chegando agora, meio que vão acompanhando os posts a partir do dia que conhecem o blog, e isso é normal, mas talvez por falta de tempo ou outras coisas, não "mergulham de cabeça" no blog e acabam deixando passar muitas coisas maravilhosas.

Refletindo sobre isso pensei na reciclagem, trazer de volta algumas postagens lá do comecinho, (não que eu seja preguiçoso ou já esteja sem criatividade), mas tive uma idéia melhor: Trazer as letras desses albuns e adicionar alguns comentários, assim quem já os conhece não precisará pular a postagem por já ter lido ha um tempo atrás. Como de costume é só dar o Ctrl+C e Ctrl+V no Tradutor do Google e a tradução aparecerá como em um passe de mágica.

Então trago as letras desse doce e maravilhoso projeto: "The House You're Building", album de estréia da Audrey Assad e lançado em 2010. Um som Piano/Pop com muitos detalhes e de um lirismo muito forte, Audrey traz letras verticais, honestas e reflexivas. O tempo passa e poucos Artistas Cristãos conseguem fazer boa música, além das receitas de bolo que já conhecemos, definitivamente Audrey Assad não está nesse grupo. Ela consegue conciliar poesia à mensagem de salvação com um arranjo envolvente e  inspirativo, aliados a sua voz suave e marcante (muitas vezes me lembra a da Brooke Fraser).
